Consumer Warning: Brace yourself for a flood of future spam once you fall a victim to affiliate spammers. We have taken inventory of spam mails received by one client who purchased one of the advertised products through the affiliate spam link, today this client receives approximately 40 unsolicited advertisement emails per day, from hundreds of domains and numerous spam affiliate entities: everything from home warranty, to clense your colon, to become an x-ray technician, get slim again, you name it – it will arrive to your inbox once you have entered to the “business relationship” with the spammer. As a consumer, you most likely do not realize that these affiliate spammers will receive your full email address, name and home address because they will have access to customer data through the details on the affiliate commission sale. So brace yourselfves for flood of spam and who knows what. These snowshoe spammers are unscrupulous.  They have no reservations about evading spam filters to ram through sophisticated desquise methods: thousands of spam domain identities, hundreds of distributed web servers, shielded identities and mail drop boxes to make unsubscribing from their JUNK MAIL impossible.  Do you think your identity and privacy will be safe in their hands?

is there anything you can do to stop this spam? I am getting hammered by these guys with Spam and it’s really pissing me off.

  • Faye Madso says:

I have spent the last three weeks “unsubscribing” from all your e-mails. PLEASE get me off your list NOW before I lose my mind.

  • Kris says:

I’ve been getting the same and I decided to take the FTC route. Not sure this will do anything but it can’t hurt!

This is from their website (www.ftc.gov/spam/)

Do you receive lots of junk email messages from people you don’t know? It’s no surprise if you do. As more people use email, marketers are increasingly using email messages to pitch their products and services. Some consumers find unsolicited commercial email – also known as “spam” – annoying and time consuming; others have lost money to bogus offers that arrived in their email in-box.

This website has information about the Federal Trade Commission’s recent law enforcement actions against deceptive commercial email and spammers’ responsibilities under the CAN-SPAM law. In the “For Consumers” section, you’ll find tips on how to reduce the amount of spam email in your in-box.

If you get spam email that you think is deceptive, forward it to spam@uce.gov. The FTC uses the spam stored in this database to pursue law enforcement actions against people who send deceptive email.

Hi. I have the same problem as you Jim. I’m getting these all the time & need a way to stop them.

  • Sandaili says:

I’m also getting ONLY spam from these people. Why can’t anyone stop them? They use the site frenchleafguard.com.

When will the law go on our side and say that domains can’t remain in the hands of spammers? Frenchleafguard.com should be deleted from registries and ICANN should be doing this. Sadly, they don’t give a crap.
